I had the pleasure of working with Rashid at Tableau. He was an integral part of the Visual Design team where he brought a ton of energy and expertise to help ‘raise the Visual Design bar’ of the Solution Engineering team. He produced some amazing content and assets for the other SEs to leverage which showcased Tableau best practices and design guides for using container objects in visualizations. His participation in our Re-Viz-It events was so appreciated and well received. As a judge, he was able to provide expert coaching and feedback that not only helped the contestants improve, but also taught and communicated best practices to all of the attendees at the event. Rashid’s energy is positive and infectious. He is a high level contributor and leader, and will be a valuable addition to any team.

Rashid is one of the most positive, uplifting individuals I've had the pleasure to cross paths with during my time at Tableau. His energy reminded me of old Tableau days when we were a small and young company, and no one was a stranger. Rashid was a friend the moment I met him. Rashid and I worked together as solution engineers at Salesforce, and were team members in the Visual Design Champions group, as well. On top of being highly technically skilled, Rashid is one of the most personable individuals with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working; he is positive and upbeat in such an infectious way that it spreads to others. He is a fantastic collaborator and data specialist; working with him at Salesforce, I was always impressed by how forward thinking he was and how he was always taking on new challenges to push himself — not only with data, but creatively. Rashid is a class act. I was so excited when he came to Tableau as a Solution Engineer because, like me, he was a seasoned analytics practitioner and that brings a different perspective to the role of an SE.
